HELP!

Does anyone have any good portable lunch ideas?  Brody goes back to school on Monday and I'm looking for some tasty lunch options.  If you've got any ideas, post em!  I need all the help I can get!

p.s. Please forgive me for not posting an actual recipe.

  1. Forgive me for not posting a recipe either :) but here's a link to some ideas: http://recipes.kaboose.com/easy-school-lunch-recipes.html

  2. We always just give Michael the leftovers from the night before. Bagel sandwiches are delicious though.

  3. It's fun to do a "bento" box and I'm sure Brody would be into it! Look up Japanese bento and see... usually some sticky rice, a side of crisp veggies, nori (seaweed) or noodles with meat. Or, you could send him with a little bit of natural peanut butter or almond butter and sliced fruit/veggies for dipping. Whenever red peppers are on sale, we slice those up for finger food. Turkey wraps are good, too- buy the "flatouts" from costso and wrap anything... or make a pizza out of it.

  4. We LOVE the wraps from Costco that April mentioned. I eat one almost every day with turkey, a bunch of veggies and some ranch. Mike takes leftovers or Greek yogurt to work with berries. We usually use frozen berries so by the time he is ready to eat the berries are melted and the yogurt is still cold. I love apples dipped in peanut butter too and hummus with pita (or occasionally veggies).
